A newly formed division in the Ministry. The team is currently working towards enabling the public sector to adapt to the rapid digitisation of the world in helping draft the Digital Transformation Strategy and will be the main implementing body of this strategy upon Cabinet approval.
Samoa Computer Emergency Response Team (SamCERT) is the National Cyber Security Agency now under the DTI division. It provides awareness, support and assistance to Samoans and local organisations that have experienced cybersecurity threats and incidents.
SamCERT represents Samoa as the main technical body for Cybersecurity in regional and international engagements and collaboration to develop policies and improve standards on cybersecurity
